This is one of the presuppositions of NLP (Neuro-Linguisic-Programming).
I know it sounds too positive, but believe me it is true, even in the worst behaviors in human beings.
I know, it’s a hard pill to swallow, if we think of certain extreme behaviours but read on.
Human being’s no.1 core need is love. Unconsciously, all we do, all our lives is to try and get attention to get the love we desperately need.
The unconscious mind will go to great lengths to get what it needs and it knows NO RIGHT FROM WRONG; it has no logical capacity, unlike the conscious mind.
That’s why sometimes we say or do things we later regret; emotions drive our behaviour and the UNCONSCIOUS mind is the seat of our emotions.
Emotions know no logic, they come from our unconscious mind! That’s why we say “love is blind”, “blind rage” etc.
Our need for love makes us blind even to the most obvious concept, that’s why there are no bad people, only maladaptive behaviours. Food for thought!
