Time for a Personal Growth Quote! 07 Jul 20
This is so true and in particular is true of our emotional health – some people call it “mental” health, I prefer “emotional” health.
We hardly ever think about the state of our emotions when we think or talk about health.
In our society, which is largely focussed on everything physical and material, our emotions are kept very private.
The result is that sometimes we end up struggling with our emotions spending years of our lives coping with them at best, instead of looking for a way to resolve the root issue.
But actually, let me re-phrase that.
We do want so badly to resolve the issue, but everywhere we look we are told the best we can hope for is “learning to cope” with our emotions.
This is because there is a serious lack of knowledge on how the human mind works and most professionals use a “talking- out-your-problems” approach, which to be fair, that’s exactly what it does: your talk your issues out, and this gives you temporary relief, but that’s about it, only temporary relief, for a few days, I know, I’ve been there!
Very few professionals out there can actually work with the emotions which cause the turmoil inside, which in turn affects our clarity of mind, our thinking, our capacity to reach our goals and enjoy the journey of life.
When the right approach is used, change happens quickly; forget about years of therapy sessions, within a few weeks you will be restored to your full health which will give you the motivation and the energy to reach whatever goals you have set for yourself in life.
Remember: “Nothing is Impossible, the word itself says I’m Possible”
